Jacqueline S. Terrell
Jacqueline Terrell believes that strong organizations create strong communities. It is on that belief that she founded J. Terrell Consulting Firm in 2006 and has assisted hundreds of clients with non-profit formation and wrap-around services.
She co-founded the African American National Spelling Bee Championships, Inc. (AANSBC) in 2010. Through her work as Executive Director with AANSBC, Jacqueline has another avenue to put her passion for community to work: ensuring that middle-school students in underserved communities learn spelling decoding techniques so they can become better spellers, readers and writers.
A native New Orleanian, Jacqueline has studied at the University of New Orleans, University of Houston, and earned a certificate of achievement from the prestigious Rice University’s Leadership Institute of Nonprofit Executives (LINE). She also has over 20 years of relevant education and business experience.
She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the Greater Houston Black Chamber (GHBC), National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and the Texas Association for Literacy Educators (TALE).
Jacqueline is excited to be named an Industry Champion for the Non-Profit section of the GHBC. As Industry Champion, she is committed to design training programs that will empower non-profit leadership to create “profitable non-profits.”
Keith V. Branch, MSW, JD
Keith V. Branch is a native Houstonian. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Grambling State University in 1978. He graduated from Atlanta University in 1981 with a Master’s Degree in Social Work – Administration, Policy and Planning with a specialization in Community Mental Health. He furthered his education by receiving a Doctor’s of Jurisprudence (Law) Degree in 1989 from Texas Southern University.
Keith is licensed by the State Bar of Texas and United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He has practiced civil, probate and non-profit law since May 1990. He currently service as General Counsel for the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice (NABCJ). He has been employed in the Field of Juvenile Justice for over 35 years. He is also an adjunct professor at University of Houston Downtown Campus and formerly of Prairie View A&M University and Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
Keith has consulted, trained, lectured and spoken to audiences of all ages across the country. He has formerly served as a Resource Training Officer for Sam Houston State University’s School of Criminal Justice.
Keith has received numerous awards and belongs to many professional organizations. He is a member of Kappa Kappa Psi Honorary Band Fraternity, Pi Gamma Mu Honors Society and Kappa Alpha Psi Greek Fraternity. Keith has also served as the National Chairman and Executive Director of the National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice (NABCJ).
He is also an active member at The Refreshing Church, where John Murray is the Pastor.
Edward J. Davis, MIT, BBA, CART, JPS
Edward has multiple business degrees and a Masters in Information Technology. He is also a doctoral candidate in leadership and nonprofit management.
Mr. Davis is an expert in website development and business technology integration. He also has over two decades experience in marketing and sales with a solid background and expertise in all aspects of online and digital marketing. His skills include web and app development, logo design, content generation, email and social media marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), video production, and more.
