About Us

Hi! I'm Jacqueline Terrell, and I believe that our communities are only as strong as the organizations that provide much-needed services. It is on this belief that J. Terrell Consulting Firm, LLC was formed. I’ve spent the past 10 years focusing on strengthening the impact small businesses and nonprofits have on our communities.

In 2010, I co-founded the African American National Spelling Bee Championships, Inc. (AANSBC). Through my work as Executive Director of AANSBC, our team ensured middle school youth in underserved communities learned spelling decoding techniques to improve reading levels and writing skills.

Under my leadership, scholarships were awarded to students who graduated high school and went on to attend the University of Houston and Texas Southern University. We were also able to provide programs to students in three metropolitan cities across the United States.

While I am very proud of what the organization was able to accomplish under my leadership, I felt I was at a crossroad and yearned to learn more about nonprofit leadership and how leaders could improve not only their leadership skills but improve the way organizations are run.

As your Nonprofit Management Strategist, I work side-by-side with nonprofit leaders and executives to create and implement strategies for a solid foundation. So, not only does the organization experience exponential growth, but the community will as well. Because there is ONE thing we know: Strong Organizations Create Strong Communities!
